About Me

Hi, my name is Jesye Nortey (Juh-sigh Nor-tay)

I am currently a senior at Fitchburg State university, and I'm in the process of getting my bachelors in communications media with a dual concentration in photography, and Public Relations, Social Media, And Advertising (PRSA).

Ever since I was young I’ve had a huge fascination when it came to beauty, fashion, magazines, and advertisement's. I always admired the way the photographers could capture people’s beauty in every light possible and the magic of how a camera can create an everlasting image that people carry with them throughout life and death. With that I've always taken up Photography since middle school and I am now taking it up in college but I also wanted to combine that with the magic of marketing. I was always enthralled by how companies can create a fantasy behind a product and sell that fantasy to you, its always been something I’ve payed attention to my whole life.

I’ve always envisioned myself one day showing up in a magazine spread shooting for a fashion or beauty editorial and with the skills and knowledge i’ve gained both at Fitchburg State and throughout my life, I hope I can make that dream of mine come true.
